Privacy policy
Last updated August 15, 2026
Short version: I collect your email address if you give it to me, I send you recipes, and I do not sell it to anyone.
What gets collected
- Your email address and first name, only if you type them into a form on this site.
- Basic analytics: which pages get visited and roughly where visitors come from. This is aggregate and does not identify you.
What it is used for
- Sending you the free PDF you asked for.
- Sending the weekly email with recipes, reviews and cooking notes.
- Figuring out which recipes people actually want more of.
What never happens
- Your address is never sold, rented or traded.
- Your address is never handed to advertisers.
- No third party marketing pixels follow you off this site.
Who touches the data
Email is sent through Resend, which stores the list on my behalf. The site is hosted on Vercel. Both companies process data under their own privacy terms as service providers, not as owners of your information.
Getting out
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that works immediately. If you want your record deleted entirely rather than just unsubscribed, email hello@nextdoorchef.com and it is gone.
Kids
This site is written for adults who cook for families. It is not directed at children under 13 and no signup should be made by one.
Affiliate and sponsored content
If a link on this site ever earns a commission, it is labeled on the page it appears on. Reviews are not paid for and meals are paid for out of pocket.
